Use WiFi AP!
What is WiFi AP?
Simply to know, WiFi AP is wireless bridge. You can connect your router to the upper wireless station (router) through WiFi AP mode for extending wireless signal just like a repeater. If ADSL/Fiber/Cable is connected to a wireless router, you can go on the Internet but the wireless signal is weak. At this time, you can connect the router to another wireless router, then the existing wireless signals will enhance and the multiple wireless devices can access the Internet.
What kind of difference between WiFi AP mode and AP mode?
What is AP mode? Connect the wireless router to the upper wired IP router to turn wired Internet to wireless and share Internet to multiple devices at the same time. For instance, there is only provided one Ethernet cable in hotel. You will be busy at switching Ethernet cable if there is more than one device getting online. In this case, you can use a wireless router and switch the mode to AP mode. Then the wired will turn to wireless, and your smartphone, or laptops can access to Internet simultaneously.The difference between WiFi AP mode and AP mode is the upper basic station. AP mode is to turn the wired signal from upper wired router to wireless. And WiFi AP mode is to extend the wireless signal form the upper wireless router.
What kind of situation can use the WiFi AP mode?
Fill in default Username and Password to login.
Click “One Button Setup” on the left menu.
- Between Floors and Houses
A normal router is not used in big houses or between houses and floors because of its weak wireless signal. Just take your SAPIDO router and switch the mode to WiFi AP, then you can use it to bridge and extend wireless signal from your existing router to enhance wireless signal and reduce dead spot of wireless internet in the house.
How to setup WiFi AP?
Via WPS Button
If the network you would like to connect is an 11N product with WPS feature, you may complete the WiFi AP setup with the WPS button.
1. Press the WPS button on the 11N product that you would like to connect till the WPS LED starts to flash.
2. Press the WPS button on the SAPIDO router till the WIRELESS/WPS LED turns to reddish orange. Then the WiFi AP setup is done.

※If the switch mode is not on your SAPIDO router, please according to the following steps for setup.
Open IE browser, type IP 192.168.1.1(P1), or open “My Network Place”, and click SAPIDO_GR-1733(P2). |

Select your “Operation Mode” is WiFi AP and click “Apply Change”. According to the following steps.
After the setting is finished, you should see a “change successful” page with countdown. When the countdown is completed, your wireless network and security will be active, and you should be able to login immediately with the new password. However, if an error message shows up, please refresh the page and it will go back to the entering page. Afterwards, you can access Internet.
※If there is the switch mode on your SAPIDO router, please according to the following steps for setup.
Please switch the operation mode to “W” before plug in the power.
Open IE browser, type IP 192.168.1.254(P1), or open “My Network Place”, and click SAPIDO_RB-1632(P2). |

Fill in default Username and Password to login.

Choose the network you would like to connect. Select the encryption type and fill the encryption key, then starts to setup the wireless encryption.
After the setting is finished, you should see a “change successful” page with countdown. When the countdown is completed, your wireless network and security will be active, and you should be able to login immediately with the new password. However, if an error message shows up, please refresh the page and it will go back to the entering page. Afterwards, you can access Internet.
